Luxus Rifle

Hello All

I have a HW 35 Luxus c1981 calibre .22 with a 20" barrel. I was thinking about getting the barrel shortened and fitting a moderator. Would this have an adverse effect on the value of the rifle. The Luxus is only the stock design surely, or is it the whole rifle.

I'd personally look around for a 35K barrel and get that screwcut, cutting the length of the barrel might remove the choke and leave you with an unusable barrel. They come up from time to time and wont cost much more than getting the machining done. unless you have the machinery at hand.....

I would leave the barrel alone & keep this original & buy a 35 carbine ,have this screw cut or buy one from Germany with mod already.If you must have a shorter barrel get a replacement then can put it back when the time comes to sell.
