On a similar note, a 1958 Parker Hale "everything for the shooter" catalogue (which of any year is an excellent reference for all sorts of things, including a comprehensive air section) has been on there for a year or so, It was originally at £95 I seem to remember, but has slowly dropped over the months to £45 or thereabouts, still twice what they normally fetch, and I have bought them for just over a tenner in the past.
Do these folk never check the "items sold" pages to get a realistic idea

I once asked a seller why his price was ridiculously disproportionate to the other sellers prices!
He said he listed the on some sort of auto and when stock ran out he simply upped the price to stop anyone buying it!!!
Would have thought it better to stop the auto thing just in case!!

You see shops doing that on the bay. They x the price by 10. It's something to do with keeping their ads at the top of searches even when they're out of stock.I once asked a seller why his price was ridiculously disproportionate to the other sellers prices!
