HW77 date and valuation please

Next door neighbour just asked me if I was interested in an old air gun he had,as its no longer of use to him.
Underlever HW77 serial number 1001587 .22 with a 50mm scope.
Was used up until recently and as been serviced by a local gun shop.
Some minor marks on the blueing and a scratch to the bare wood by the trigger.
Shoots ok,but not had chance to try it at the range.
I would be grateful for an indication of year and sale value.

1001845 manufactured 1983

There you go mate I have number 1000375

I paid £150 for mine from sales on here around three years ago (not absolutely sure when it was though!!)

Hi , i think that serial No is from about 1983 and value is very dependant on condition and if it is all original or it has been messed with and of course on what the buyer wants to pay .
Maybe ask if you can take some pics and post them up and then we can give you a better idea of value .
