The hammer on my Beretta 92 waited until it was a couple of weeks out of warranty before deciding not to trip consistently. Sometimes it trips three-quarters way through the trigger action, more often not until the trigger is almost back to the trigger guard. Not knowing when this CO2 pistol is going to fire makes accurate plinking impossible.
My local gun dealer says this is unrepairable, that even new Umarex models are the same. He gave me the routine spiel about the hammer having to fall exactly when the six-shot magazine delivers the pellet to the breech.
This, to me, is like a car dealer saying he can't tune an engine.
So I thought I'd ask you guys what can be done !
