    Hi Michael

I hope your father is still fit and well ?

I remember having a long chat with him about rust bluing when I picked up your old Diana 54 from him --- top coffee.

He is well, thank you for asking, apart from arthritis in his wrists that hinders his shooting and motorcycling.

He has decided to reduce his collection to his beloved BSAs so he thought he'd put hie toe in the water with this very lovely Haenel.

I hope the Diana 54 is still running well, a real mans gun !! Not for the weedy

    Best regards

Glad to hear he's OK Michael.

I look forward to seeing your dad's collection on here as I know he had a few really nice guns.

I hardly ever use the 54 as it's a bit too good for what I wanted it for, but by shear coincidence I bought a 52 from the man who's post on fume bluing inspired me to have a go after my chat with your dad.

I suppose your dad will be keeping his favourite Diana underlever ?

Yes Dad is only selling some of his collection, although with no interest in this rifle, maybe he isn't !!

I thought this was a great price for a reasonably rare rifle

    Michael
