Closet collecting, Pete? Is that anything to do with cupboard love?

I don't collect closets any more. Haven't got the space for them.

PS I wouldn't watch the Eurovision if you tied me to a stake in front of the TV...

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

I am concerned as to why Binners has brought the subject up in the first place. If that's what you enjoy go for it mate, who are we to judge?
In fact that's probably the wrong choice of words, as there is no judging in the Eurovision, just points scoring to your local friendly neighbouring countries.

I don’t know how many of you used to listen to Round the Horne on the radio back in the early 60’s, but I always remember Kenneth Horne introducing a horror movie sketch with the words: “I will long remember the horrors of that dreadful night. However, I don’t want to dwell on the Eurovision Song Contest so I will get on with the sketch.”

    Some things never change.

If Fraulein Wurst were an airgunner, she would surely fit right into the Collectors' section, by the simple virtue of having a beard.

Just think about it for a moment. It's all in the title......Eurovision. ' A vision of Europe'. Not funny, not clever and by all accounts, not even entertaining. It's all a bit sick really. I have better ways to spend my time. Like commenting on here.
