No Boingers out today Tony, we are thinking of having a double header later in the year, PCP in the morning, Springer in the afternoon, butties in between. I have just the PCP for you if you dare to touch one.
It was our first attempt at setting a course out today, due to Martin retiring from the job & we did not make it tough enough, having no wind made life easy too.
Some high scores were had by all ,but I pipped em to the post by clearing it

Too easy? Nah, that'd suit me, with basically ZERO long range action in recent years!

I have been known to have the odd very brief shot with a PCP but Dinosaurus Tone will probably always stick with a good old fashioned Boinger!

No worries Tony, I got there about 3.0clock & spent 3 hrs mowing, not the best of conditions but it needed doing. Several adjustsments were made to the course & a few of us went round.
Maybe see you next week.

What a fantastic evening, thank you chaps......

Spoiled only be me arriving late due to horrendous traffic because of an accident clogging the roads up.

Lovely setting, very picturesque. Undulating terrain, trees etc. a lovely warm, still evening.

Baby rabbits were hanging about on the shooting lanes!

Nice gang of people, very welcoming. Very impressive facilities.

And a big thank you to both Nick and Mark for escorting me around the mega-impressive HFT course. Maybe with some semblance of a proper zero, I'll hit a few more next time!

For anyone living within reasonable travelling distance, and teetering over whether or not to visit/join, I'd strongly recommend giving it a go.

Unfortunately there was no chance in the end. I was rushing round like a loon and only managed to make it over to Newark by 7!!

Don't worry about altering zero though Tony as you hit plenty considering you sat down for most shots FT style!!
