What would your dream find be?

My dream find would be near impossible.
I walk into a gun shop and find a 'mint' boxed Airsporter Mk1 as pristine as the day it left the factory - having only fired a few 'test' shots, with a lovely rich colour walnut stock - unmarked! - Mine at what I considered a reasonable price.
I just love these old rifles!

What would be your 'dream find' air rifle and why?

At an army dispersal sale for a few quid, an old dusty wooden transit case containing 6 sequentially numbered Military pattern BSA's given by the factory to a regiment for advertising purposes, but just quietly placed in the Q.M.'s stores and forgotten about after WW1 kicked off!

Of course the case would be stuffed with period BSA literature, cases of pellets, spare parts etc. etc. ...In fact the guns would not be in a rack, but each in it's own BSA made fitted box with cleaning rod and spare springs etc.

Not too much to ask is it

That's my dream find too, perfectly described.

Silly, but I would like a Hammerli 420 (Military Stock) sidelever rifle. The last one I saw was in the Webley pattern room sale and I didn't bid for it and its disappeared off somewhere ... the only rifle I have wanted that I haven't owned.

A 1997 Baikal Makarov if one really exists. Some say they do some say they dont.

I managed to get a very very rare 1998 model but the 97 eludes me.

A falke 90 with diopter in mint condition.

Then in the afternoon a first class trip to the moon.

    Both are impossible to get.

    Dream find

To walk into my local gun shop and find a Ripley AR5 in .22 - never seen one for sale - they all seem to be in .177 or the odd .20

My ultimate dream would be for Steve Wilkinson to sell me his late fathers Predator - yes the one in bits - well hidden and in need of some loving TLC. I can but dream!
