    Opened the first of two boxes of Cci no 10 percussion caps...... All duds

    That is very unusual. In all my years of reloading centrefire, shotgun and shooting BP guns I have never seen a cap/primer without any priming compound.

    Have these been bought in error?
    Some sites sell caps/primers without priming for display or re-enacment, if not, I hope you are going to return them to the supplier.

    Strange. I use CCI #10 , 11 and small pistol and can't remember ever having any problems.
