    Webley service mk2

    Hi guys new to the forum
    first posting asking for help in finding spare parts for my dad's old air rifle .
    It won't cock reach's the safety catch on the action.
    the firing lever looks badly worn ?
    any idea's

    It sounds like the sear is badly worn, which is a common problem with a rifle at least 60 years old.
    You will probably have to get the sear re-tipped and re-profiled.
    Make sure it is done properly by a competent gunsmith.
    The hardening and profile is critical as the sear connects to the piston by a very fine indent.
