    Thanks Lincoln

Big Thanks to the crew at Lincoln. Another great weekend had by all.
The new zero range is excellent by the way.

The weather stayed kind - until the shoot-off that is, then the heavens opened big-style!

Great to shoot with Acenorth (who put in a damn fine score or 56) and Bageroy. Not forgeting John, who was a first timer at HFT, and chose to use a 0.22 springer - talk about meeting the challenge head-on!

    Regards,
    Steven

Thanks Lincoln for a great weekend. A very special well done to Jane Sparkes who shot a fantastic 57 ! sorry I didnt get to congratulate you there , you seemed to be rushing off everywhere .
Also a big well done to Scott who shot his first comp and got a fantastic 44 , and Amanda with a PB of 41 with a different rifle as scott had nicked hers . Also a big well done to Simon Belcher who went round with Dave and got 49 on his first comp , good shooting mate .

Just got back from Lincoln, superb days shooting by all and a nice challenging course. How do you manage to get wind on one side of the course and none on the other? The scores are proving that everybody is improving. Nice to see all the usual suspects and many more new faces.

Well Done Paul Wilson taking 1st place in a 5 way shoot off and well done to Peter Frohwein for a magnificent 59 too, taking 5th in the shoot off. Quarry for the team victory.

Well Done Badgeroy and Steven, thanks for a cracking day of shooting banter, thats what its all about. As Steven said well done to John (didn't catch the surname) 1st ever HFT a 0.22 springer.

Mrs Sparky for beating hubby Peter... Gretel lilly for letting her hubby win this one too.

Loads more but need to unpack the car....

Thumbs up Thanks to all from Lincs HFT Club

    Hi All,

I just want to take this opportunity to thank all who attended round 3 here at Lincoln. It was a great turnout and it's you Guys and Gals who made it a success. Hope you all found the coarse both challenging and interesting.

Many thanks also to AGS for sponsoring the round, generously as usual. Great to catch up with you guys again.

Many thanks to the Guys at UKAHFT once again. Well organised and executed. Very professional. Yet another success.

Congratulations to all the winners of the various classes and the side shoots. Some very respectable scores being put in.

I want to thank the Lincoln team for your hard work in preparation for the round and in making this event happen, and that includes Andrea and Polly in the 'office' and my other half in the kitchen.

Apologies to those on the zero range during the first round when we had to temporarily close it for a while. We were getting reports of ricochet pellets on the HFT coarse and had to stop the shooting on safety grounds until we found the reason It turns out that the A4 sheets we used for target covered the crossbars and when hit caused the ricochets. Switching back to the Bisley targets fixed the problem and we were soon back in action

It was a very enjoyable round for me and it was great to shoot with Caroline Belas and Lewis and Paul Warbuton. Great fun too.

Finally, it was great to catch up with our shooting friends met at other rounds and new ones made at this one.

    Nuff said.

Top one Lincoln. Excelent course, brilliant facilitys and great grub wagon. I had a whale of a time. I'm starting to get the hang of the rules now and set a new UKA personal best (54)

We're looking forward to hosting the next round at North Oxon. Lincoln is a tough act to follow but we will do our very best to put on a good shoot for y'all.

edit Oops nearly forgot big thanks to the lads that gave us a push out of the car park.

    No .. you'd better say :
    "Great shooting darling"
"You're so much better than me, but I always knew you were"
"I'll make breakfast tomorrow, as you're great"
    etc ...

    Well done Mrs.Sparkes !
