Well I hope I don't offend anyone , but I completely took the stock back to scratch , still oiling it now ... 4th coat so far ... And removed almost all the bluing ...

The internals I've not ventured into yet ... But I'm going to give them a complete going over when I get a chance

Yeah , I could have past for a redneck hillbilly sitting out in the heat of the day with a gun on my lap ... Still , I enjoyed myself

And it actually looks quite good so far .. For a stock in its mid 60s it now looks brand new

Magic. Keep us posted with how the little resto project goes!

And if you ever do decide to let that horrible KT synthetic stock go, I'm your man!
