    Very nice too. Did you really drill the holes especially to take the gun mounting straps?

    Holes , No Brian, the wire coathangers had to go, it was a hard decision after years of faultless service, but in come the cable ties with a dry-lining screw

    You need to get a coat of creosote on that it much too new looking. Fire a few pellets into it for good measure.

    shame you wasted the heavy duty scope ties, when a couple of pallet nails could have held it in place;might consider displaying above the fireplace next time.although it gives a whole new meaning to "fencing a gun"

    Hope you haven't overspent on the display area 'cos just spent some of our money on
    LH thread tools etc.

    PS did you roll over and get the Holts' item with sight??

    All you need now is a spirit level for your screw holes

    Looks like a nice solid job mate, concrete posts, gravel boards all that good stuff....That should be windproof!
