A small squirt of T-cut works for me (It does not contain any ammonia).

You using the liquid or paste t cut? I've tried the paste stuff in a tube and I've got to say I've noticed no difference!!

Might see if I've any of the car polish around.

Plus one for the T-cut, I put a tea spoon of T-cut in my Lyman 1200 with cob media and 100 cases at a time. They come out brill.
