    Lovely condition gun, and all wrapped up with a scarce transitional stock. Beautiful !!

    Guns in that condition are few and far between, so congratulations on a great find.

    All the marks on the stock and metalwork will be inspection marks. All parts which were inspected and passed after manufacture,then were marked with stamps, and the finished gun, was also inspected and tested before dispatch.

    Superb etchings, which would have been set off perfectly by a lovely fence !!

    Thank you Andy,

    I have seen some BSA stocks stamped with 2 *s This old girl had one owner from new and has not seen much action, so the fence must wait....
