The stock looks like it's been left upside down on a radiator for too long.

    Ugly gun, attractive price.

That reminds me of the hideous Black Fox!

It looks like someone has just laid a very large log in the bowl!
    Yuck!

    Cheers

Not exactly to my taste, but I've seen much worse over the years.

At £400 who cares what it looks like?

    Well worth a punt IMHO.

Umarex/Walther seem to be serious about breaking into the mainstream air rifle market. First the LGV, then the LGU and Terrus, and now this.

High time someone gave AA, Diana and Weihrauch a run for their money.

    Rotex

    Exactly my thoughts Arthur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If this brings about PCP shooting for more people then all the better, the prices of many brands are just too high and the recent pricing of Walther's is something to celebrate and to make other manufacturers wake up and think about things

It might look even better the right way up, well it does not, but there again what do you see when you fire it? If you are looking at the stock you wont hit much!

Its an R10 copy, cheaper done like, but an R10 copy.

If they put a reg in this one and got it right it may just be a great buy for a good hunting gun.

I actually think its a bit of an 850 airmagnum hybrid with a 200cc tank.. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...n_IMG_0236.JPG

I sold that a mate, imagine that dropped in the new stock...looks similar

    Exactly.

..and it provides an opportunity for makers of after market stocks to get a lot of business too

It certainly looks very much like the Airmagnum action, converted to HPA - what's the consensus on the reliability of the AM action and mag?
    Good deals with these members

I hope it isnt, i converted 2 to hpa and suffered hammer bounce like you would not believe, tons of wasted air, that siad though they were superbly consistent with a Ninja reg at relatively low pressures.
They are quoting up to 180 shots, if thats the .22 the .177 is around 150 which is no better than an R10 from the factory...so while not bad its not really that good when you consider adding a reg to a mk1 rapid with a 15inch barrel will deliver 200+ shots in .177 with just larger porting to the valve and barrel to take advantage of the reg...same hammer etc etc.

Im looking forward to seeing one stripped down, so we can see how well or not well its made, its cheap so im not thinking miracles with it but it will be nice to see either way.

Just tried one at Protek Supplies. Stock looks great, good trigger. It is quite heavy , but is probably due to the buddy bottle. It's been cronoed and seems to be very consistent 11.7ft/lbs and 575 fps with 3fps spread across three shots. I like the broad fore end. The rifle feels good in the hands. I would prefere a larger mag as 14 shots can dissapear very quickly through my HW100. It can be filled without removing the buddy bottle.
