I'm having no luck finding 198gr 8mm PPU or Sierra items at the moment, with Kranks and Sportsmans being out of stock. Just thought it might be worth an ask on here if anyone reloading for Mauser 8 x 57 has recent knowledge of a supplier with stock?

No luck there I'm afraid. Now I'm wondering whether to ask a family member to pick up some in the US. although no doubt Customs would have a fit if someone tried to bring in some harmless lead in a pointy shape

I've had 300 matchkings on order from sportsman since December!
Just come back from Nashville and looked in 7 or 8 gunshops including huge basspro and didn't see any 8mm bullets. But its not a popular round out there. Especially down south.

kranks used to sell them and so do york guns....then just pull the bullets
