Do you think it will hurt when a full spud hit's you on the back of the head after being fired 150 yards?

Strange that you should mention this potato gun. It was mentioned in the press yesterday. Due to the potential long range, Charles Big Eared Clarke is proposing banning potatoes.

I wanted a pocorn launcher, to employ whilst being irritated by the kids in the front row, watching a film at 19:30 on a Tuesday night when its a rainy night, on a leap year.

I didn't need it to be THIS specific..........

    '''MBTS-30

Below is a picture of the MBTS-30 T-Shirt Cannon model. It comes with a pneumatic trigger.
It has a fixed barrel measuring 36" x 3.0". This easy to handle T-Shirt Cannon can shoot your team T-Shirts into the crowd on every shot with compressed air as the fuel. It can be upgraded to offer an on board charging system that can be hooked up to a remote source of compressed air without the chamber being constantly charged.'''

I used to build simple version of these from an old drain pipe, sheet steel, and some form of can for a combustion chamber lol

I got blown accross the kitchen whilst firing one of my larger versions from the hip at the back door.

Mummy wasnt impressed my dad loved it though, till I finaly broke the patio door, bless em!

My mate has a dad who was in the RAF. He showed me how to make a tennis ball launcher from a pringles tube and some hair spray. These things are great...they can easily launch the tennis ball 100 yards. If you spray the ball as well then you have a combined flame thrower too.

Saw an article and some pics on one of the American web sites about spud-guns, some time ago, where the guy had built a steel one to fire lead projectiles, inch and a half calibre, and used Oxy-Acetylene as the propellant!

Suposedly able to fire the slug over a mile, wonder what the muzzle energy was for that?

Now, where did I put my welding kit?

    Cheers
