I had some cases with 8 loads on them in my old 223 they were still good to go!

I'm on the 12th loading. I have a couple of thousand loaded and from the first 250 or so fired I have seen small splits in the necks of two of them.
This will be the last time they get fired if it continues. At less than 1% failure I might be able to live with it "for one more go" but I have a 1000 new cases sitting here, it would seem a shame to leave them on the shelf.

Over 8 so far from a mix of Remington, Federal and HPS brass. No signs of any splits yet. I'm wondering how much longer it will go on for. This is in a Sako 85 and they've only ever been neck sized and (if necessary) trimmed. Same for the .308, but that's all HPS brass (I think they were using M.E.N.).Originally Posted by Blackbaronfish
