    approx age wanted for my webley junior

    my webley junior has a number on the front where the barrel hinge is with 140 on it can anyone give an approx. age of it please .

    Unfortunately, the number on the front of the spring guide and under the left side grip is only a batch number, for which no records for date of production are available.
    A very approximate dating may be possible according to certain characteristics of the pistol.
    Best to see if you can borrow a copy of Gordon Bruces book on the Webley Air Pistols, which covers the Junior in detail..
