I'll take this please... PM me your details for payment - bank transfer probably easiest.

    Thanks - JB

I think it should fit the 631... the peeps on the Canadian airgun forum seem to think so. Shorter piston, so more air to push out.

Of course it doesn't have the 'Crossrail' designed TP like the LGV, but you can't have everything...

Well the gun arrived - very nicely packed thanks APDT

Really quite nice - I would say under-rated, but most folk seem to like them.

530 fps with superdomes, and a very nice firing cycle. Has a decent quality feel, and is more adult sized than I expected. Being picky, I'd like a beefier barrel lock up, and a rubber recoil pad. But it's very solidly made - much better than my mk5 meteor, for example. Breach bolt with locking screw. The trigger is basic and single stage, but far superior again to the meteor's (lighter, and smoother). But for the money

Plan to scope it up with this: http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....ope-and-mounts

...but I'd also quite like to find a foresight to fit it's 7mm barrel dovetail - any ideas anyone ? Doesn't have to be original.

Will give it a spit and polish tune, but it really doesn't feel like it will need any real work at all. Keeping the original mainspring as is.

Thanks again for a good deal - JB

    Foresight

Chambers stock the front sights for these. Not very cheap though.

Ahh well... you know I mentioned it will just be a spit and polish tune..?

    Hmmmm, it wont...

    Port is 3.8mm x 21mm so that's getting sleeved down for a start - somewhere in the 2.5 - 3.0 mm range
Piston washer was a big rough, so I'm cutting the nose off and converting it to take an HW seal, which will probably add about 1/4" of stroke too
Will need to slightly lengthen the cocking slot in the piston to accommodate
Spring I will keep, but the guide could do with being a little tighter.
Will let you know how it goes
