Top work all round, prevention is definitely better than cure.

Anyone else hearing of any similar campaigns, please let me know and I'll do my best to get us a shout.

I think we made a difference this time, and I know we can do so again.

    Keep 'em peeled.

Perhaps a sticky along the lines of - "Local media interest in airguns? Let us know."?

Kudos to you all for what you have done - lets keep our fingers crossed for a positive portrayal in Manchester

The report has just gone onto KEY103s web site. I think we got the message across. Thanks go to Ray Ross and Paul Wray (Paul404).

    Nice piece,
I was expecting a guest appearance from Rivingtons own Male Model though ! (I.J )
Again well done to Ray,Paul ,and Ian and the team for educating the uneducated.
It certainly helps to be seen in such a more positive light.

I was a model for Lego and king of the 'Um... aarh' comment so my bit is still on the cutting room floor (and best place for it. )

I think Michelle has edited an hour of recording quite fairly.

Well done Ray & Paul for their knowledgeable input👍

You played a massive part by helping make it happen, Ian.

    You're already a legend, anyway.

    That's great stuff .
Glad to see a media person meeting some "normal" shooters and I really hope she enjoyed having a shoot .
these assholes how give us a bad name will cause trouble with anything , not just an airgun, they should impose "asbo" type orders that stop them from owning airguns . I certainly know they would not get hold of a firearm ..sorry, yes they would down the pub grey market .

Not a scooby, but I'm speaking to her next week so I'll ask.

How refreshing to be able to thank a media professional for their fair and even-handed representation of our sport, especially when I'd made the first contact, rather than being invited to contribute. It shows that there was no set 'agenda' and that information from all sides was welcome.

If only all media outlets worked like that.

Agreed, and let's not forget the people who took the trouble to bring the Key103 investigation to Terry's notice in the first place. None of this would have happened had it not been for them.

Those who oppose our great sport are quick to jump onto any media coverage of airguns, so let's all make sure our side of the story is heard as well. If anyone is aware of similar local radio, paper or TV investigations, please let Terry Doe know.
