Wanted: Somewhere to go plinking

Am looking for your help. A couple of good mates of mine would like to get into rifle shooting. They’ve looked at booking a range day come intro to deer stalking day but before hand though, they’d like to have a go with an air rifle as they aren’t going in completely cold.

Does anyone know of somewhere around SW London or Surrey / A3 area where I could take them for a plink with a sub 12ft lb air rifle?

Go to the Bisley FT air rifle club. They have a great plinking range.
What makes you think you can't use a scoped rifle?

Marvelous! I shall look into it.

I'm told some of the clubs / ranges are iron sight only (could have been told wrong of course).

I'll try the FT boys out.

Ah right. Some of the powder burner ranges might be, but the airgun club is fine.

None of the bisley ranges are iron sights only

There are shed loads of smallbore clubs in Surrey, but being home office approved you can't get 'day' membership as it is against the law.
