Winners and Final Scores for the MPL 2014 Spring/Summer Postal Competition.

Congratulations to all those with the stamina and dedication to complete the 2014 Spring Summer MPL postal competition.

All of the scores that have been (so kindly) listed for us by George month by month can be found in the link at the bottom of this little ditty from me.

The top three in each class have won a nicely engraved Perspex trophy, so if you are on this list and would like to email me with your postal address I will get them sent out to you this week:-

    .177 Pistol trophy winners.

    1st. David E.
    2nd. Mick L. ( micken).
    3rd. Chris H.

    .22 Pistol trophy winners.

    1st Bob S (zooma).
    2nd George (thirdwheel).
    3rd. Phil McB ( Rickenbacker).

George and I would like to thank all those that took part in this superb "shoot from home" competition, and in particular offer our thanks to our fellow .22 pistol shooters for so graciously allowing us to win something.

Lets hope there will be no more displays of such overwhelming charity this year as you leave us both limping along at the bottom of the Autumn/Winter series score boards ( George has not bought himself a rifle yet - but there is still time.)

You have won last years hand crafted trophy to keep for life - unless you have already shot it in an equally magnificent Webley spring powered air pistol

It is good of you to show everyone again just how significant last years winners trophy was as we are unlikely to ever offer anything like that again.

The picture of you holding it doe's help to give some perspective of the sheer scale of the accolade - but of course it is made to look a little small by your own gigantic mainframe .

    Hi all
Well done to all of the winners but a very big well done to those that every month sent in their scores and never gave up, even though they knew they never could and shot against those arround them on the score sheet, and themselves. There was as expected a steady improvement in most personal scores due to the effort put in, I don't like to mention any names but there was one fantastic improvement due to very good advice at their club and a bit of coaching and lots of commitment to get the best out of their HW40.

This sure beats anything on the box.
    Keep having fun

    Best cheers
    George The scorer

NOOOOO not buying a rife I've got to get the best of this pistol lark - it's totally consuming my spare time.
