Hawke Varmint 4-16X44 Side Focus 1/2 MD Question/help Please

Hello Gents,

I have one of the above scopes and it is Very good for the money But the Flip-up covers are
Cheap Poxy things!!

I'm trying to get some Butler creeks but I broke my measuring gauge and can't get a Precise
Measurement So
Do any of you nice gentlemen had one of said scopes with snug fitting Butler creek covers on please?

What size are they if you do?
Are they:
17 Eye - 42.5mm and 31 Objective 50.7mm? Or am i Wrong as usual

According to my calipers it measures 51.07. Hope that helps

Uttings have just this min told me :

For the Hawke Varmint S/F 4-16X44 you'll need the Butler Creek eye 18 and objective 31 size flips for
the scope.
