    410 roll over tool

    I intend to make a 410 roll over tool in a lathe. Can anyone , who has one, micrometer theirs and send me the dimensions of the depth of the grove and its radius and width please.

    I don’t have a 410 unit, but I do have a 12G one. I was going to make me one on a lathe, but it’s not that easy. The grove is not a plane cut, it has ripples / ridges in it.

    Google images “rollover tool shotgun” there are a couple of clear images of the inside of the grove. I gave up in the end working out how to make one and got one off the bay.
