Thank you Fordies for a very enjoyable course.
Wow! That wind was vicious
Anyone find a camo mat? Think I might have left it where we did the badges.

Hi All
For those of you who braved Bertha – which didn’t chuck the worst forecast conditions at us (though not far short), here are today’s SIHFT Round 7 results from a breezy Ford Ranges.
Thanks to the Fordies for setting out an interesting course, which would undoubtedly been incredibly easy had it not been for the gusty gale and intermittent downpours.
I’m sure it was the anticipated threat from Bertha which kept so many of the ‘rest’ away today. I think that’s the lowest turnout – just 36 - we’ve ever had at a SIHFT; hope to see you all back for Round 8 at Horsham on the 31st August.
Why, oh why, did I shoot (and knock down) the wrong target on my very first peg? And why, oh why, did I have soooo many shots fall just outside the edge of the hole – around 70% of those plates held across just insufficiently and 30% falling dead on my cross-hair when I’d been brave and given it just (but only just) outside the edge? These questions (and many more) will, I am sure, remain unanswered.
Not often I’d be heard saying I like the ol’ Bill, but many thanks to my partner for putting up with me today, and for having the temerity to beat me – even at his extreme advance years. Well done Mr Hall

Mile Oak had better watch out. Not at all sure they’re safe with such a marginal lead Buxted would have been at risk of dipping out of their 2nd place spot, were it not for the sterling effort of their special “Sossidge” (well done Gary)

Mat was definitely found - in the awards shed. Not sure why, but you were guessed as the likely owner. Perhaps because it was the narrowest mat anyone had ever seen, and we thought you like to hang your bare knees over the edge.
And while I'm on and on the topic of 'left behinds', does anyone have a 'spare' Air Arms cap?? Thought mine had gone in to the SIHFT carry box, but nowhere to be seen when I unpacked.

Thanks Fordies for another good course, even started to enjoy after the first 20 minutes of gale force winds and a couple of torrential downpours, my gun bag will never be the same

Jolly well done us for coming second today!
Thanks to all the hardy souls who turned up today, I found that strangely enjoyable.
As ever thanks to all the people who do their bit time after time, Mike, Charles, Andy, Mike(tubs) and of course the course setters(which didn't really include me as I spent most of the time mucking about with the diddy tractor).
