I have an Air Arms SE90 .177 walnut(made 91 Mars and sold in Sweden), these sidelevers is not so common in Sweden mostly when one shows up its a Mistral or av EX88.

The earlier SA guns was not sold here at all.

The most popular sidelever of the time was Webley Tracker, it sold alot and is common today but still sought after by people that had one or wanted one.

Air Arms is not very known for these guns at all even if EX88 was made for the Scandinavian market for a while.

And of course these sidelevers was put out of production in 91 and the Webley Tracker was made for a long time.

Are this AA sidelevers common in UK?

The SE90 is a lovely gun - I do not have one .... yet

I read on www.jackals-lair.com that the EX88 was offered in Scandinavia in a Maple stock whereas the UK version was beech.

I have not come across that many Jackal / AA Sidelevers and most are in poor condition .

I am trying to build up a collection in good condition which almost invariably involves a complete strip, reblue, some new parts and then a rebuild and stock clean/refinish.

I am after a Carmargue, an SE90 and an EX88 preferably in .177 calibre and an AR7 which I am happy to acquire in .22 cal

    Hi Matty

There is and I nearly got one a few years ago. But the gentleman never got back to me.

Been off the scene of tracking them down for sometime now.

Are the taps on the AA side lever rifles tapered or parallel and typically how well do they seal?

I do hope you haven't put that tap somewhere so safe it is proving difficult to find!

Great, thanks for letting me know that would mean then they are probably all parallel across the range. How well do you find the tap seals?

I had a Bora a few years ago that was down on power, it turned out that the tap was worn, I've heard that getting them plated can overcome the problem, never did try it though...

The rest of my AA sidelevers seem to be fine though
