    Reasonable Price for Anschutz 9003

    Top quality 10m Target rifle

    Anschutz 9003
    Walther LG400
    Steyr
    Pardini
    Feinwerkbau 800

If I were to buy a top quality 10m target rifle which would be the best? I shoot from a wheelchair so not looking for something too heavy or too light, which is why the Hammerli's don't appear in my list plus in my opinion they aren't good enough. I would like the Anschutz 9003 or the Pardini obviously both are the wrong side of 2500 and I would need to be sure before getting one as stocks of the top class rifles are very thin on the ground [no where in Norfolk has them]

I have my mind set on attempting to qualify for the 2020 Olympics which is a hard task and not everyone makes it and I don't expect to just walk in and say "Hi I want to come play" which is why I'm looking at the top quality rifles now.

If anyone has any sensible opinions [please don't waste your time with "You won't make it blah dee blah"] I realise that but I'm going to give it a darn good go and with an in house coach at the club who is a specialist in shooters with disabilities along with the correct contacts in the necessary areas.]

Or if anyone has one of the top quality guns and is at a club that will be running an open competition in the south of England ie Derby to Kent that I can attend to view the rifles that would be great.

The Feinwerkbau 700 and Walther LG 300 are also models to consider as they are both top class match rifles that have been superseded in their manufacturers ranges and so they can be found at competitive prices - even new!

Some international shooters still use these previous models so if they are good enough for them not to feel the need to "upgrade" then they should also be good enough to help you on your way to achieving your ambition - but at a more reasonable price.

I wish you good luck with your ambition. It is better to have tried than never tried at all.
