    Zombie marketing

    I've just seen this:

Made by El Gamo. Presumably shoots these pellets.

My first reaction was that it's aimed at teenagers obsessed with zombie movies etc which is probably a bad thing for the sport. But if it helps bring them into the airgun fold, is it so bad?

Assuming the 2 items will be bought by the same market, we are talking about real idiots. I pay around £7 for 500 good pellets, the zombie variety work out at £33.96.

At the end of the day it's down to the marketing boys. They see a potential market and grab it. We all started somewhere, and I doubt as kids many of us intended to end up shooting the way we do now.

That's my bit of waffle and I'm as confused as I was before.

Ah yeah, Dave. But your pellets don't glow in the dark, innit. Brilliant for all that night shooting you do... Then again, the zombies can see the pellet coming, and dodge them.

Maybe a future FT champion will one day admit to having had his head turned by an El Gamo Zombie? I doubt it.
