Stealth power ??

Got my new Gunpower Stealth .177 today from B.A.R. Excellent service , ordered last thing Mon, received lunchtime Wednesday.
Anyway having assembled , attached scope and filled with air it zeroed in very quickly. Right, time to check through the trusty Skan Chrono. What a disappointment ! Tried 4 different types of pellet, with H&N FT`s coming out the best with figures of 700-720 fps and 9.3-9.8 ftlbs.
It`d had 50 pellets through it when these readings were taken.
Has anyone else experienced such outputs from a gun I had expected to put out around 11+ ftlbs.
I shall try to contact Gunpower tomorrow and see what they say.

I would imagine that the guys at BAR have done you a service ....... many Stealths come out of the box exceeding the legal limit.....very dodgy territory.

Let it settle down awhile - put a couple of tins of pellets through it, then check again. If there IS a problem, then rest assured, Lloyd and his team at BAR will do you proud.

Cheers for the contributions guys. Have stumbled onto the Holy Grail of Stealth and I think I`ve got a pretty good handle on whats happening.
