    Venom hyperglide

    I shot a .177
HW 77 up the club a few days back. I was told it had been hyper glided at venom. Dies anyone know what is done to the internals on a hyperglide tune?

    Mmm, very intriguing.....

    Lazaglide, then V-Glide, now Hyper-Glide.

I wonder if it was a slip of the tongue or if Mr Pope's just launched an even better, more sophisticated tune?

It's got a nice ring to it, hasn't it? "HYPER-GLIDE"

This is the new tune where Mr Pope has gone back to the future. Delrin spacers house a "Flux Capacitor" which eliminates recoil by taking the shot cycle forward by a fraction of a second after the trigger has been pulled, meaning the person firing the rifle can feel no perceived recoil whatsoever-fantastic.

Expect lots of guys wearing orange overalls and slapping their forehead whilst exclaiming "great Scott!!" and "Heavy" at a gun club near you soon

    Hyper salesmanship.

Surely if the seller can't get the name right it has to raise a ? mark.

It wasn't for sale . The guy who owns the gun knows what he is on about ( came second in the worlds last year)
Excuse my ignorance, I thought the experts might have had the answer.

If he knows what he's on about why didn't you ask him what a hyperglide was?

    Just curious.

Got fed up with the BS answers on here and asked the guy who owns the rifle what has been done. He honestly didn't know what the tune involved and had no intentions on opening up the rifle to look ( don't blame him). He also said Steve Pope was not giving anything away either ( don't blame him)

As said by Mach 1, a new tune which, no doubt, you will all be interested in.

Thanks for all your constructive and mildly amusing comments everyone.

We all live in the past, dreaming of rifles we wish we had bought back 20 odd years ago, if you want up to date info that not even Steve Pope is going to tell, how the hell did you think we would know ?
