    Crosman 130

    Pump pistol 1953 to 1970.
I generally avoid pumpers but this one is pretty easy as not a lot of power.
6 pumps is enough and it cocks itself internally.

But an hour with tins in the garden up to 15 yards and it didnt miss one.
I do like old air pistols!

Thanks to Benelli Baz for fixing it and to Andy Davies for making some excellent walnut grips to replace the cracked plastic originals.
I just buy them, and am lucky to know chaps who can sort them.

funnily enough i thought the effort of pumping up would detract from the fun of pulling the trigger but far from it ,i found they have a character all of their own;lord knows how many i have now!!,.
ps hope the bell target is wringing regularly.lol.

I'll take the naturally recoilless firing action of multi-pump pneumatic over the spring guns any day.

The Crosman line of pneumatic pistols (105,106,130,137, 1300) are all great. As I've said before, my all-time favorite multi pump pistol is the early, all brass, models 105, 106.

I have two rather nice pistols sold to me by Binners.
    Good prices too.
So keep on disliking them Pete!

The bell target was in use with various pistols yesterday Bob ,including the 130 and the dreaded airsoft ones.
The Airsoft 6mm plastic balls shatter on impact which means you get a bit of a ring when you shouldn't.
But its my rules at home!

    Hello,

I'm a recent convert to certain early American Co2 and pump-up air pistols triggered by the purchase of a Crosman 600 purely on a whim. I have discovered that you have to treat the use of the pump-up pistols as an experience to be enjoyed for its uniqueness rather than for its efficiency.

As has already been stated, once cocked, they both provide recoiless shooting, but with a bit less faffing about with the Co2 pistols.

    Regards

    Brian

I have a 600 en route but also love the model 1/ mod2 and many of the older pumpers :/
