I have been using the load below in my Tikka 243. It has proven to be deadly accurate and devistating on fox and vermin
Load data
Powder - 43 grains of Vit 140 or TR140 ( They are interchangable)
Bulllet - 70 grn Sierra Blitz King.
Primer - Fed 210m
Cases - Sako
COL - 2.650

Accuracy - 0.3 moa

why would he want to use two weights of bullets ?? as re zeroing time after time will be a pain.why not use an 87gr and get the best of both worlds ??
as to powder if he insists on using two different weights I presume he only wants to buy one powder,if so use Vit 160 for both
The following has worked very well in various .243's of various makes over the last 14 years, with slight variations in the powder load and seating depths according to the rifle.
70grn Nosler Baltips
46grns H414 - gives me 3463 ave fps in my Blasers
CCI large Rifle Magnum primers (Magnum recommended to ignite the H414 although Match performed well too)
Various seating depths between 2.225" and 2.235" on the ogive - around 20thou off the lands, closer wasn't better. (2.225" in my Blaser Match barrel with Lapua brass and 2.233" in the Standard with FC brass)
I also use 95grn Baltips with 45grns of H4831SC, standard CCI Large Rifle primers seated to 2.232" on the ogive with R&P brass. Went for the H4831SC as I can use that in the 7mmRemMag.
