Really must figure out how to post pics on here from my hard drive

I had the same trouble on here mate till Mark helped me out.
Open a photobucket account...it's simple and free copy your pics there, then click on the pic you want to load, there will be a box on the right saying IMG click this then paste it here and the pic is sorted

Hurrah ! can now add pics !.

    So here's the run down.....
    (1) Shroud milled away ( not for any weight reasons or any POI issues)
    (2) UK Neil air stripper, hence the milled shroud !!
    (3) Barrel has been black carbon wrapped.
    (4) Front part of shroud reamed so barrel can fully float.
    (5) 3D printed trigger from Maestro Designs , note trigger change from pic 1
    (6) 3D printed butt plate found on the 'bay'
    (7) Butt spacers by 'Norris'.

Sitting on top is a 1990's era, Leupold VXIII Premier Boosted 18-40 x 40 E.F.R. scope with multi-line reticle , being the EFR version this will focus down to 8 yds at the full 40x mag !.

    Cheers,
    Scubaman.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the comment.

Air stripper is a 'UK Neil' one, made for the AR. It's held on by a couple of grub screws underneath, think you can just see one in the pics, if you look real hard. That was one reason to have the shroud milled as the stripper won't fit otherwise.

Shroud was simple to mill apparently, I happened to be working on-site in an engineering company, had a word and took it in the next day showed the guy what I wanted and it was all milled in under 15 mins.Total cost one bottle of red wine.

Might have to consider it with mine. Had my shroud powdercoated and took it for a shoot today.
The poi had shifted very high. About 5" or so. It took 20 clicks to get it back. When I swapped the air cylinder it shifted up again. As the day went on, it came down a bit and stabilised. It's still at least 15 clicks higher than before.
I may take the o ring off the barrel to see if that helps
