I may take the o ring off the barrel to see if that helps
Agree. A lot of people take that 'O' ring off for that reason.
Try it first mate, costs nothing but a little time.

Might give it a go. Have to see if the poi keeps shifting.
Only problem is that the shroud has the adaptor fitted at the end and might get the pellet to clip the air stripper or adaptor.

That could be aroblem. The 'O' ring will centralise the barrel in the shroud and as you say removing it could lead to pellet clipping.

Don't remove the Oring it's there to keep it central in the shroud

I know of a few peeps who've taken the o ring off the try to stop poi shift. Worked for some, didn't for another. Not sure if they had the adaptor on.
I think I'm gonna leave it for now and see what happens on the next couple of times I shoot it.

Been back to Stu's today. Went a lot better after a ropey start. Hits knock downs and spinners with ease. Got some good groupings at the end.

Something warming inside looking through a half mil dot reticle at sunset!!

    Hi,
Nice groups there. Liking the sidewheel. Now I have one of those Hawke scopes as well. Does your sidewheel fit onto the Hawke rubber centre hub ? I have a larger wheel (125mm) on mine which does but would like to get an aluminum one made up to replace that rubber insert.

It's a rowan universal fit. It's got little teeth that clamp down onto the wheel. If you email them they'll tell you what to specify when you order it so it fits your scope. It works really really well. Always good kit from them. Quite fancy their now adjustable fore end but don't fancy the price!!

    Cheers,
Thanks for the info on the sidewheel.
Got some of their kit on another gun. Good stuff but not the cheapest though as you say.

Just had a go at making an offset grip. It's not finished, needs a bit more work on the finish and I've got a nice captured fastener on order for the top instead of a bolt but you get the general idea.
Got a nice flexi point trigger off of Andras at http://www.maestro-design.co.uk. Lovely bit of kit.
Going to do an offset for the butt hook next week.
