    Help needed

I have a HW100 with a edgar brother sniper fitted, a problem has come about since the good weather so i guess it is possibly related. If i use the gun in the morning when it is fairly cool there is no problem nice groups and pellet goes where i hope it to, but once warm it starts shooting to the left and its not just a bit i make it about 3 inches at 35 yards. Its just spoilt 2 comps for me so i need to get it sorted before the next.I have just removed the support at the front hoping that is the problem but as it was still hot tonight i have no way of checking yet.I really hope someone has any thoughts on this subject as i am really baffled.
    Cheers
    Darren

With the sun on my right side, my shots go a tad left, and vice versa.
I think one side of the barrel expands more, creating a slight bend.

When it happened this weekend i did move about so i could not really say that the sun was in one particular spot on the barrel and also today i was inside at the range with no sun just heat.
I know im not the only person with a EB sniper so if it has happened to anyone else who owns or has onwned one i would be grateful for the feed back

    Hi Darren

The sun doesnt seem to affect my EB Sniper on my MK3. I know it doesnt answer your question.

Thanks Kev , i do hope its not the gun after all the misery i had with my daystate, i will try it without the support ring at the front today and if it shifts still then im bo$%^&ed.

I was out most of the day on Sunday with my HW100, it was very hot, and I never had a problem. I have a Bushnell elite 10X40 sat on top.....

Could it be something to do with the scope? Just a wild guess.

I'm assuming the groups remain tight, but to the left. Is that right?

Might you be wearing fewer clothes and adopting a different hold?

Casting around wildly here and probably missing by more than three inches...

The warmer it gets, the more you drink. The more you drink, the more astray your shots go. Easy.

I notice that when the sun goes down that my groupings go all over the place. Then again I dont have NV or a lamp

Clothes cant be the problem as i was in shorts and T-shirt all day and the grip only changed when i was about to throw it at the nearest wall.

As for drinking thats what i will have to do to drown my sorrows

And night shooting might just be the answer at least it will stay cooler

A call to Hull cartridges and still no joy. Im just un lucky i guess

the only thing that I can think of is probably the scope is faulty as alot of black scopes in heat lose zero, whereas with a silver scope on board it reflects instead of absorbing it
