Webley Senior screw being barrel catch..?

Apologies if this is an oft asked question. Did a search and found nothing. There's a screw behind the pivot screw, above the thumb pad. What's it there for? I dimly recall reading something before I got the pistol, but can't find it anywhere. Along the lines of it strengthening the pivot.. surely not. Any ideas?

It's just a 'stop' screw for the catch movement. They omitted it for the Premier.

Thanks for the reply - I thought it was in a bit of a strange place to be a stop screw - it's fractionally below the fulcrum and the catch stops naturally against the plunger and at a push against the bottom of the sight ramp.

True but the Senior was the height of Webley air pistol production when quality and engineering came to a zenith. After that they started omitting and cheapening the whole thing.
