Order one from Germany and they come with a rifled barrel. What about the Hammerli 850 air magnum?
I already have an XS78, and a ratcatcher, and quite enjoy plinking with them.
Are there any other c02 rifles that are worth looking at?
I was looking at a Crosman 1077, but understand it has a smooth barrel.

If you want to splash out a bit of money, I'd go for the Umarex 850 Air Magnum to.
The 850 looks nice, but at that price I would buy another PCP instead.
Looking at the cheaper end, as it's for plinking, I use PCP for my hunting.
Maybe you could pick up the now discontinued Rabbitstopper, it's just a Ratcatcher with a proper stock & a longer barrel, but a handy little rifle & should be cheap on the second hand market.
As well, being a big Ratcatcher spares are easy to come by, & I would imagine it's endlessly customisable if that's what you like.
I've always fancied the Umarex (Walther, Winchester, etc) lever action carbine
Maybe one day...
For less than £400 you can buy a Walther R8 which basically is a PCP version of the Airmagnum
For that sort of money you can't go wrong
Alternatively, in the same price bracket, there is the Gamo Coyote which apparently is very similar to an early BSA Scorpion
I personally wouldn't know but my RFD seems to think so and he's what I would call an experienced guy
Air Arms S410 Carbine -.177- Hawke Sidewinder 30 4.5-14x42
Air Arms S400 -.177 - Hawke Sidewinder 30 10x42
Daystate Airwolf CDT -.177- Richter 6-24x50
The 5 shot Drulov Eagle is a well made fun rifle, (second one down)..

BE AN INDEPENDENT THINKER, DON'T FOLLOW THE CROWD
I appreciate that you already have a Ratty.
But, what about the recent 2250XL? 18" barrel, silencer adaptor, steel breech as standard and comes with 4x32.scope which isn't THAT bad.
I know it's so similar to what you have, but I'd deem it to be sufficiently different, especially if your Ratty hasn't been upgraded.
Mine does 9.3 ft.lbs with 'Domes. Someone I spoke to at the Bash t'other week was telling me that his was doing well over 10 as standard.
THE BOINGER BASH AT QUIGLEY HOLLOW. MAKING GREAT MEMORIES SINCE 15th JUNE, 2013.
NEXT EVENT :- August 3/4, 2024.........BOING!!
The best co2 rifle, simples- for me the Alros Starfire in .22, love mine has tested by BTDT in his blast from the past series., I liked the review so much I bought the gun.
My 1077 has a rifle barrel Have had probably 10 years though.
As said the rabbit stopper is a nice little gun. Prefer mine to my qb79
hoplophobe
Ours is in the loft with a good coating of 20W 40, until I can get the time to restore it, it was my son's first 'proper' airgun after the B2 I got him when he was 10.
He wandered off into the shotgun world so I rescued it a put it into storage. I'm thinking of HPA for it eventually. A nice pointable little rifle.
