    One saved from the dustbin.

http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...tml?sort=6&o=9 came to me the other week. It originally had a stock split in three places (fixable? ) a bent barrel, bent and useless cocking arm, no breech seal and an Ox spring. It was also covered in rust.
With a Colin Malloy re-blue and a tatty stock (but not split) off here (El Malpino ) and a few hours work I think Ive saved it. Pre safety catch and 13mm scope rails I dated it as 1974. M.E. presently around the 10ft.lbs mark but its got a mild main spring in it and I think will bed in higher with a tin of pellets through it.
I originally got it via one of our club members (they love me really ) for £20. Now, what do I do with yet another HW35?

I wouldn't swap the split HW stock and Ox spring for a boxed Wobbly but thanks for the offer.

    Hi I.J.

That's a nice scope mount, do you know where they are currently available? I've had problems sourcing one for a HW35e.

    Cheers,

    Mick

Its an Apel mount. A 13mm one in this case. They did them for HWs (11 & 13mm), FWB Sport/Omega and BSA Mercury/Airsporter with a relieved scope rail for better eye relief. They are adjustable for windage and ring height and come up for sale s/h now and then. I usually buy them if I see them in time. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...ml?sort=6&o=68
