Would it be possible to fire these guns at all, considering their age? I quite like the 8mm musket type rifle with the tiger stripe stock listed towards the bottom. Or are they just show pieces now?

Not that many Improved Model Bs about, compared to other BSAs. The thing I have found is they tend to be very accurate. I've owned two and shot several others belonging to other collectors - all seem to group really consistently. This is a not too common opportunity to acquire one.There's also a very interesting Improved Model B in .177 on that page too!
