Weihrauch HW85, need to have my hands bound

just picked up a HW85 in .22 saw it yesterday only the wife was with me so nipped back this afternoon to have a better look had to have it ,its from 1987 with the raised scope rail and the forestock like the 77 angled not rounded and the long barrel, over the chrono 10.50 with Accupells with an easy action ,my question is what would you expect from a Hw 85 compaired to say a HW80 or the later 95 as all my other Weihrauchs are at full or almost fullpower .off to the doctors now for tablets to stop me buying Weihrauchs only a few more to call full HOUSE except for the HW60

    Hi Davy

Old 85 is a fabulous gun.

They will do 15 ft lb all day if you push it.

You can sweeten them a little with a 10mm short stroke piston head but actually just a softish spring is enough really to make them shoot nicely at 11 ft lb.

Try 3-5mm of preload on yours on the back end - don't add any weight to the piston

Opportunity is missed by most people, because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
