Knock your self out
James
Evening.
Im looking for a substitute for my Air wolf. I have had a break from my shooting what with a baby and work I decided to dig the old girl out, go buy a couple o tins o HnN and have a sesh in the back garden. Having used HnN FFT for many a year I was disappointed to find they were all over the place. I heard Biz Mags were re badged HnN Mags and the Air wolf loved them. What ive noticed is that my barrel seems to like pellets that are hard lead/shiny like HnH and I can fee pick up the rifleing un like AA or JSBs.
After that my question what other "hard" pellets are there that are worth a go?

Crosman Premier (in the cardboard box not the tins) are a harder mix (high antimony content) than most and I still rate them, especially in springer or rammers. May loose a few (50ish) fps in your AW.
Purbeck Field Target Club.
Any where you can recommend I can get them?
You've probably done it, but after a long lay up it's often worth cleaning the barrel, gets things back on a level playing field sort of thing, in my case I leave it with a coat of oil in it anyway.
I don't know about the actual alloy, but I saw a .22 Defiant Ogive pellet on my barn floor before, it must have been there since February & still shiny?

Purbeck Field Target Club.
Accupell FT are re-badged H&N FTT
The toxicity of lead varies, depending upon the weight of its doseage and its velocity!
Biz mags don't work in my wolf
fliers are common
best pellets I've found are AA fields, JSB Exacts and JSB heavies work best
I got a tin of FTT's and they do ok but nowhere near as good as the other 3
