Titter yee not...shot a rabbit today, gutted it in the field, skinned and deboned at home. Meat smells fine, eyes not mixy and heart and lungs look fine. Trouble is that my fingers still smell with that earthy tinge you some times get.
Is this normal, or should I just bin the bunny...was going to have it for my lunch tomorrow.
As far as I'm aware I didn't contaminate the meat.
