    mrto Will sort docs. today.
Don't know muzzle energy but here's the bean can at say 10 yds.

Very pleasing for such a small volume chamber. Again I'm no judge.

P.S. I feel a trip to Daveymole coming on. Hope he hasn't shot his Chrimbo present to bits yet

No idea sorry. They are "Beatall" British Made .177, No.1 bore which have been in a drawer for donkeys'
A bit tight for a 4.5mm I guess so will try some more modern ones.
    P.S Thanks Pete

Just put 5 shots through mine, RWS 7.0gr Flatheads, shooting at 5.6 lbs.

It has been interesting following your project, thanks.

Thanks for the info. GuizeAyose. I'll do back sums to get velocity to compare.
Just sent photos to the guy that owned it as a kid when it broke. He's delighted to see it firing again.
    Do you have/want the maker's brochure/parts list?

If my sums are right yours is doing 600 ft/s which is very satisfactory to me.

Cocking is surprisingly easy so a stiffer spring is possible I believe. Not sure what the benefit would be though.
Perhaps the tuning gurus will offer some views.

    Thumbs up Erma ELG 10

I know that this is a slightly old thread, but THANK YOU for all of the effort in posting and providing pictures! I have THREE of these little marvels (one is the Webley branded one) and like to have disassembly instructions BEFORE going directly to the 3 pound hammer and dull screwdriver! Nice guns that are unique and a pleasure to shoot. The current value is around the $850.00 USD and will only go higher!
    Regards!

Deejayuu is the man on disassembly, I could have never done it without him. There is a thread where he shows you the spring compressor he used and the ends and outs that were extremely helpful? Couple things I could not do was drive the pins out to remove the barrel. I left the barrel in and did a work around with a wood vice. I also did not take the pin out to release the cocking lever. I found just having the lever open was enough. Good luck. One of the positives in working on this rifle is the spring tension is not really that bad, but still need to use your head. These are just neat plinkers for the backyard, great feel of the real rifle and very accurate.
