It seems inevitable that this type of thread ends up in a slanging match.
I hardly come here any more because of it.
To the OP. The Rockchucker supreme kit is excellent.
I have bought a few from the place on the bay.
The only problem is they do not make any effort to package them properly.
I had one arrive with the box completely open and items missing.
Hard to beat the Lee collet dies but do learn how to use them. People often say they are no good but usually haven't read the instructions properlyor cleaned them before use. I love them as no lube required.
I have three sets of them as well as RCBS, Lyman, Hornady and Redding comp dies.
I saw a good article awhile back where a well equipped engineer measured resized brass using different dies and Lee came out best!
I have the Target master trickler and it is excellent. Used with good scales and you can get down to one kernel of powder.
I have the Lyman Gen6 which is also good but wont pickup one kernel of powder but it is quick.
Gen6 for loads on an ETR range and the Trickler for the 1200 yard stuff.
And I do decap before tumbling using a Lee universal decapping die.
The media stuck in the flash hole gets knocked out when I resize.
This is how it works for me and I have only been reloading for 37 years!

thank you for the helpful comments Tony. Your time and thought is appreciated.

I have been experimenting with different loads (within proscribed min/max of the manufacturers' data I ought to add for those who would have a fit of apoplexy if I didn't specifically mention it!) but the biggest improvment over factory ammunition has I suspect been down to the combination of fire formed brass and bullet seating tailored to the rifle.

    Hmm. OKaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

There MUST be a reason why I've been doing it the other way around for the last forty-seven years, as, I suspect, have most of us.

You then wrote 'THERE IS ALWAYS A REASON FOR THINGS'.

Yup, sure is. I'll let you find out why.

Ok - I'll admit to being a de-cap before tumbler. Tried it the other way for 35 years but for the last 3-4 years been wet tumbling with SS media.

Just use a universal de-capper and primer pockets look like new after tumbling.

THIS is how I do it.
