    Thank you freeads

And my cheque is en-route missed saturdays post but my good lady sent today

Are the shooting points under cover? If we have anything like the last few days weather.
I might have to stock up on the 3 in 1 don't want my new (2nd hand) boinger going rusty
Oh, come on, you can't do that! Keeping us all in suspenders!

So what did you settle on matey?

And yes, the tarpaulin clad polytunnel that Mick erected so generously is HUGE. So, loads of room under cover and no need to worry over your new pride and joy getting damp.

Now back with a Diana 280k this is my 4th one

I need a barrel weight or silencer though to add as a cocking aid to fit onto the 1/2" threaded barrel as I forgot how short the hernia inducing 280k barrel is

It currently cocks like a pumped up fenman but shoots lovely at just over 11ft

That's what I was thinking and I remembered your comments from the other week when you'd seen the Express and said you'd have been really tempted had it been a big 'un!

Love the feel and balance of the 280.

I had a go with a couple of fettled ones at the very first Bash, belonging to Bigtoe and WonkyDonky. Lovely.

Is it standard or played with matey?

Oi, I like liking Dianas... I'd have "Diana" as my sig, except for looking like a princess.

AFAIK it's standard it shoots well though and certainly shoots as nice as a recent SFS tuned one I owned

No twang but locktime is really quick seems snappy but not as harsh snappy as a .177

I do like the weight and balance and a very elegant looking rifle.
ok there not that en-vogue and can be much improved (just like most springers) but that's what appeals to me as there a break from the norm

With the hernia inducing cocking stroke and the snappy characteristics it's far from a little princess
