The all-weather range at Kingsbury Garden Centre, near Brum, where I shoot, was built & is run by a top man called Gary, a veteran airgunner/tinkerer. I took the liberty of inviting him to recce the Bonfire Boinger Bash Mick. He's well placed to sing Boinger facility praises in the right circles and is likely to drop by on the Saturday.

Yes, indeed he did, by all accounts.....see my other thread. And what a wonderful and selfless gesture.

But you guys all contributed, thank you.....I've never had a present like this, where a few genuine friends get their heads together and create a most wonderful and appreciated surprise.

And we can all thank Uncle Mick for that, by creating the perfect medium for us all to meet in person, sharing our common passion for boingers.

Seal kit arrived last week for the 410 which is now in bits on the dining room table, have a choice of main springs which I've narrowed down to 2 with a fully open transfer port....... what could possibly go wrong, got three weeks before the bash to sort it all out just need some daylight to put it across the chrono. (tried the 3 inch spring and you don't want to know what that gave.)



I think no. 1 son finally posted check on Saturday should be with you Mick by Tuesday at the latest.

Aww, cheers Tone I posted on your thread Yep, I'm hopeful of making it to the bash. Probably just for a day (if I'm going to learn to camp out, it's probably best to try it in June!). TBA!
