Hi Hendrick,
To try and cover your points in sequence:
The O-rings on the lever - on my rifle they did not touch the underside of the moderator when in the closed position, so IMO not vibration dampers. The 'mushroom' on a TX serves to prevent the lever over riding the detent and marking the underside of the barrel assembly.
Not sure of cocking lever o/d off the top of my head, will check it and report back, but visually looks in the same league as the o/d of the TX200 & HW77/97. There is ample space for an after market cocking aid to fit if required - see pictures above.
Longevity of the o-rings on my lever - probably pretty good as one of the first thing I did was remove them and put them in my box of odd bits. Seriously they seemed pretty hard rubber.
Barrel / breech zone - I don't see why it should be prone to snagging or losing bluing under normal usage.
The colour of the alloy components - best see pictures above as there are close views of the visible portion of the trigger housing and the muzzle assembly.
Weight and balance to my mind comparable to HW97K.
People who have been there focus on the fundamentals. People who sit at keyboards all day focus on the trivial and inane.
