    Hi Dave and welcome...

Its a decent enough gun, but it all rather depends on what you want to do with it, over what range and budget...there might be other options worth considering as well.

My dad has got a second hand Webley Hurricane in the box which he purchased i think in the late 80's or early 90's and i did not realise how much pistols are to buy new.

Yes, it will do whatever you want it do.
It's full power and very accurate.
If you can live with the looks and the handling then it'll be a winner for you.

    Hello biker_bob

I have been looking at different pistols and I cannot believe the CP-1 is sold cheaper in Poland compared to the UK.

Most things are more expensive here than anywhere else - that's where the phrase "Rip Off Britain" came from.
Look at American stuff, the best you can hope for is if they charge the same price in £ as they do in $ and often they actually charge more!

That is unbelievable how can they justify the extra £100 plus.

Useless as a starter pistol - far too quiet. You want one of those 9mm blank firers.

I should have worded it a pistol for someone starting in the hobby not a pistol for starting a race.

    My error sorry

hear, hear- what difference does the noise it makes, make? it's how accurate the gun is that counts.
